Giclee’ (pronounced jee-clay) is French for “fine spray”. It is a printing process using archival pigmented inks propelled onto watercolor paper or canvas with an Epson archival printer. The longevity easily surpasses conventional photographic materials. This process sets a new standard for color print longevity.
The code explanation next to Glenda's work is as follows:
(PIDTHHxWW), where PID is the painting number, T is l=landscapes, s=still life, p=watercolor prints, c=canvas prints, n=note cards, and x=Christmas cards. HHxWW is height x width.
Most everyone has seen the added clarity and definition of pictures printed on high quality canvas. These canvas prints are breath-taking. Also, this print on canvas needs no matte or non-glare glass.
Note that some of these pictures are "paired" and some are in two sizes.
